Job summary

Allianz Partners Belgium is seeking a Head of Medical Operations to lead the MGCC Belgium's day-to-day operations, ensuring service quality and achievement of business objectives.

You will manage a multi-layer team, oversee workforce planning and recruitment, drive performance and continuous improvement, and collaborate with Medical Management, Assistance Operations, Claims, HR, and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• Significant operational leadership experience in healthcare, insurance, or a fast-paced service environment.
• Proven track record leading managers and multi-layer teams with workforce planning and service delivery.
• Experience in recruitment, talent development, and organizational development.
• Experience driving transformation in international, matrix organizations.
• Strong collaboration with multiple stakeholders across countries; data-driven decisions.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead MGCC Belgium day-to-day operations, meeting targets and ensuring productivity.
• Drive performance management, KPI monitoring, trend analysis, and corrective actions.
• Oversee workload distribution, resource utilization, and business continuity.
• Lead and develop a team including Deputy Head, Team Leaders, and Traffic Officer.
• Drive engagement, succession planning, and retention aligned with Allianz values.
• Own workforce planning and partner with HR for recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure adherence to processes and quality standards; mitigate operational risks.
• Collaborate with Medical Management, Assistance Operations, Claims, HR, Finance and other functions.
• Lead operational improvement initiatives and transformation projects.
