Job summary

ING Belgium is seeking a Head of Marketing Communications to lead a team of marketing communications experts and drive integrated campaigns across channels. You will translate business priorities into customer-relevant marketing initiatives while ensuring governance and measurable results.

You will partner with stakeholders, brand and media teams, and external agencies to strengthen the ING brand and contribute to sustainable business growth in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Extensive marketing experience with a track record of campaigns and leadership.
• Proven people management experience.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Affinity with the financial sector is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of marketing communication experts, fostering ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Provide direction across the marketing portfolio, aligning priorities, resources and initiatives with business objectives and brand strategy.
• Act as a trusted strategic partner, translating business priorities into impactful marketing initiatives.
• Create clarity and alignment across a complex stakeholder landscape, balancing priorities and driving decision-making.
• Maintain an overarching view of marketing activities, ensuring governance, follow-up and delivery.
• Drive integrated marketing planning and execution across channels and touchpoints.
• Challenge and elevate the quality of marketing strategies and campaigns to maximise impact.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
