Eurofins Environment Testing Belgium seeks a hands-on Business Unit Manager to lead the Asbestos Services Business Unit. You will drive operational and financial performance, develop a ~25 FTE team, and strengthen customer relationships across Belgium.

You will report to senior leadership, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and contribute to budgeting and P&L management while fostering a results‑driven culture and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in an operational leadership role (e.g. operations, production, logistics, manufacturing)
• Hands-on approach with multi-site or field-based teams
• Interest in or exposure to commercial activities; comfortable engaging with customers
• Understanding of business performance metrics; experience with P&L is a plus
• Knowledge of Operational Excellence; application of LEAN
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; comfortable working with numbers and targets
• Results-driven mindset with ownership
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
• Proactive attitude and ability to turn challenges into opportunities

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of the operational and financial performance of the Business Unit.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of operational and support profiles, ensuring strong engagement and performance.
• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and supporting commercial activities.
• Act as a key point of contact for customers, handling discussions and building long‑term relationships.
• Monitor and steer KPIs, targets, and performance metrics in a structured and data‑driven way.
• Optimize processes, planning, and resource allocation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to unlock synergies and support broader business objectives.
• Contribute to budgeting and business planning, with exposure to (and development in) P&L management.
• Foster a results‑oriented culture, focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
