Capgemini Belgium is seeking an experienced HCM Platform Engineer to support Oracle & Cloud Technologies within a large HR landscape. You will manage HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, and integrations while driving secure, scalable product delivery.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, Terraform automation, and IaC proficiency. A hybrid work model is offered with opportunities for growth and certifications across platforms.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a similar role on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux or another Linux distribution.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and shell scripting.
• Strong communication and a customer-focused mindset; stakeholder collaboration.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch or French (willing to learn the other language).

Responsibilities

• Manage HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, integrations, IAM, analytics, and containerized workloads.
• Manage Oracle Linux environments and Windows-to-Linux migration roadmap.
• Administer and optimize cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes, VMs, managed cloud platforms, IaC, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver secure integrations using APIs, networking, and certificate management.
• Automate platform operations with Terraform, shell scripting, and application development while ensuring cybersecurity best practices.
• Support application and platform upgrades with testing, deployment planning, and knowledge sharing.

YOUR ROLE

As an HCM Platform Engineer for Oracle & Cloud Technologies at Capgemini Belgium, you will be part of a team responsible for a large enterprise HR landscape spanning virtual servers, cloud-native platform services, and SaaS solutions supporting a PeopleSoft HRIS implementation and its production environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will manage and support our HR technology landscape, including HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, integrations, identity & access management, analytics, and containerized workloads.
• You will manage Oracle Linux environments and play a key role in our Windows-to-Linux migration roadmap.
• You will administer and optimize cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes, virtual servers, managed cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• You will collaborate with development teams to deliver secure integrations using authentication, authorization, identity federation, APIs, networking, and certificate management.
• You will automate and improve platform operations using Terraform, shell scripting, and application development, while ensuring cybersecurity best practices.
• You will support application and platform upgrades, working closely with customers and colleagues on testing, deployment planning, operational readiness, and knowledge sharing.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree in an IT-oriented field.
• You have at least three years of experience in a similar role, working on complex projects, using your analytical skills to solve problems.
• You have strong knowledge of Oracle Linux or another Linux distribution.
• You have experience in different infrastructure domains, from cloud service configuration to application support.
• You have experience with infrastructure-as-code and shell scripting.
• You have strong communication, stakeholder collaboration skills and implement a customer-focused approach.
• You have a professional working proficiency level in English and either Dutch or French. You are willing to learn the other language.
