Job summary

Capgemini Belgium is seeking a Senior Technical HCM Consultant to drive end-to-end HRIS implementations and evolutions. You will blend hands-on development with technical leadership, collaborating with customers across cloud and on‑premise solutions, including Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP and PeopleSoft.

The role requires at least five years of ERP/HCM experience, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in Java, Python or JavaScript.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years in a technical HCM/ERP delivery role.
• Expertise in SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud, SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Proficient in Java, Python or JavaScript.
• Strong API, middleware, ETL and data migration experience.
• Fluent English and Dutch or French.

You combine hands-on development with technical leadership and customer collaboration across cloud and on-premises solutions, including Oracle Cloud HCM, SAP and PeopleSoft.You will take ownership of a broad range of technical activities and combine multiple roles:As system administrator, configure and manage the infrastructure offered by the Cloud provider.As front-end developer, design user friendly customizations or add-ons that integrate seamlessly with the core product.As technical expert, develop functionality while not losing sight of performance requirements, build and use ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) tools to migrate data and build and configure interfaces to achieve an integrated solution.As a consultant, work together with the customer to gather requirements to design, implement and make the solution work and look together for the roadmap to the future.YOUR PROFILEYou have at least five years of relevant experience in a similar role, using your analytical mindset to solve complex technical challenges.You are an expert in SQL and relational databases and have hands-on experience with ERP systems (like Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, or SAP)You have strong development skills and experience with one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Java, Python or JavaScript.You have experience with integrations, APIs, middleware and ETL or data migration tools.You have strong communication skills, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and are comfortable to advise customers.You have a professional working proficiency level in English and either Dutch or French.
