Capgemini Belgium is seeking a SAP Backend Consultant to join our team and help clients modernize their SAP ecosystems. You will contribute to data integration, define technical specifications, and deliver robust solutions that drive digital transformation across industries.

With 5+ years of SAP project experience and strong ABAP programming, you will mentor junior colleagues, collaborate with functional teams, and stay current with SAP trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree with 5+ years SAP project experience.
• Strong ABAP programming skills; RAP/CAP/C4/JAVA a plus.
• Analytical problem-solving abilities; customer-oriented mindset.

Responsabilités

• Provide data integration and processes optimization using ABAP/Java to create solutions.
• Define project scopes and translate business requirements into technical specifications with functional teams.
• Create waterproof technical designs and manage project implementations.
• Stay current on SAP industry trends and best practices.

YOUR ROLE

Join Capgemini as a SAP Backend Consultant and play a pivotal role in shaping the digital backbone of a client’s organization, driving innovation and digital transformation.

Core responsibilities

• Provide seamless data integration and business processes optimization, using development tools (ABAP, Java…) for creating your solutions
• Define project scopes and join forces with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Create waterproof technical designs and manage project implementations
• Stay current on relevant SAP industry trends, and best practices
• Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and expertise and promote a collaborative learning culture

YOUR PROFILE

• A bachelor's or master's degree combined with 5+ years of SAP project experience.
• Excellent programming skills in ABAP. Other technologies like development in RAP/CAP/C4/JAVA are a plus
• Analytical problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose innovative solutions.
• A collaborative spirit & customer-oriented attitude
• Result-driven & focused on delivering quality
• Fluent in Dutch or French and professional working proficiency in English
