Job summary

Capgemini Belgium is seeking a Medior System Administrator to join a large enterprise HR landscape supporting PeopleSoft HRIS. You will manage Linux environments, cloud-native infrastructure, and containerized workloads while driving IAM, integrations, monitoring, and performance tuning.

The role involves collaborating with developers to deliver secure integrations, automating operations with Terraform and shell scripting, and guiding upgrades with planning and readiness activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in an IT-oriented field.
• At least three years of experience in a similar role on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Linux or another Linux distribution.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and shell scripting.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration, customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the HR technology landscape, including HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, integrations, identity & access management, analytics, and containerized workloads.
• Administer and optimize cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes, VMs, and IaC.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver secure integrations using APIs, networking, and certificates.
• Automate platform operations using Terraform and scripting, ensuring cybersecurity best practices.
• Support application and platform upgrades with testing and deployment planning.

Join us and help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world.YOUR ROLEAs a Medior System Administrator at Capgemini Belgium, you will be part of a team responsible for a large enterprise HR landscape spanning virtual servers, cloud-native platform services, and SaaS solutions supporting a PeopleSoft HRIS implementation and its production environment.Your Responsibilities:You will manage and support our HR technology landscape, including HRIS platforms, cloud infrastructure, integrations, identity & access management, analytics, and containerized workloads.You will manage Oracle Linux environments and play a key role in our Windows-to-Linux migration roadmap.You will administer and optimize cloud-native infrastructure, including Kubernetes, virtual servers, managed cloud platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code, monitoring, and performance tuning.You will collaborate with development teams to deliver secure integrations using authentication, authorization, identity federation, APIs, networking, and certificate management.You will automate and improve platform operations using Terraform, shell scripting, and application development, while ensuring cybersecurity best practices.You will support application and platform upgrades, working closely with customers and colleagues on testing, deployment planning, operational readiness, and knowledge sharing.YOUR PROFILEYou have a Bachelor or Master degree in an IT-oriented field.You have at least three years of experience in a similar role, working on complex projects, using your analytical skills to solve problems.You have strong knowledge of Oracle Linux or another Linux distribution.You have experience in different infrastructure domains, from cloud service configuration to application support.You have experience with infrastructure-as-code and shell scripting.You have strong communication, stakeholder collaboration skills and implement a customer-focused approach.You have a professional working proficiency level in English and either Dutch or French.
