Ardo is seeking a Group IT Director to define and execute the IT and digital transformation strategy across the organisation. You will lead enterprise technology initiatives including SAP transformations, infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity and data governance to support sustainable growth and innovation.

Here’s What You’ll Do

The Group IT Director is responsible for defining and executing the organisation’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives and digital transformation priorities. The role ensures the delivery of secure, scalable, and efficient technology solutions that support operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth across the groupwide Ardo organisation.

This person will lead enterprise technology initiatives, including SAP transformations, infrastructure modernisation, cybersecurity, data governance, data analytics and the adoption of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI). The role is accountable for strengthening the organisation’s digital capabilities, safeguarding information assets, and ensuring compliance with security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

In addition, the Group IT Director drives the evolution of the IT operating model, builds high‑performing teams, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. The position acts as a strategic partner to business leadership by translating business needs into technology‑enabled solutions that create measurable value.

The Group IT Director drives the modernisation and continuous improvement of the organisation’s ERP landscape, infrastructure, cybersecurity framework, data management, and digital platforms. The role evaluates and leverages opportunities related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, decision‑making, and business innovation.

Ensuring a strong cybersecurity posture, information security governance, risk management, business continuity, and compliance across the group are key responsibilities.

The Group IT Director defines and executes the global IT and digital transformation strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives, growth ambitions, and operational priorities. Working closely with the TMO team, the role oversees the governance and delivery of international IT programmes and enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives across multiple business units and locations.

As a strategic partner to executive leadership, the Group IT Director translates business needs into technology‑driven solutions that enable organisational change, sustainable growth, and measurable business value.

The position is also responsible for developing and implementing a future‑oriented IT target operating model that supports scalability, standardisation, agility, and business enablement. The Group IT Director leads and inspires an international IT organisation of approximately 60 employees, fostering a culture of customer focus, performance‑driven and love for the product across regions and teams.

• Proven experience or ability in driving digital transformation and large‑scale change programmes.
• Proven experience or ability to align IT strategy with overall business objectives.
• Experience in stakeholder management at executive / senior management level.
• Demonstrated leadership of international IT teams in a matrix organisation.
• Proven experience or ability in managing enterprise IT environments, including applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, IT governance, ERP systems, and IT operations/service management within complex, large‑scale organisations.
• Experience in managing large IT budgets, vendors, and external partners.
• As a leader you can act both strategically and on an operational level.
• Having a good conceptual knowledge of important IT market trends, technologies, solutions and can critically evaluate or pro‑actively propose new opportunities.
• A higher degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent through experience.
• Language skills: Minimum native language + English (L4 – full professional proficiency), preferably French as second foreign language (L2‑4).
• Role requires frequent international travel across Blx and Europe – approx. 30%.
