ITS Group Benelux in Brussels is seeking a Senior IT Program Manager to lead a large-scale ERP transformation. The role focuses on migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA or an equivalent ERP, and managing the European public procurement process for ERP software and partners.

You will oversee the ERP program, coordinate strategic IT projects, and ensure change management, testing standards, and stakeholder alignment, including GDPR and ISO 27001 compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in IT roles
• Expert in IT transformation and large ERP programs
• Experience transitioning from SAP ECC toward SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP
• Strong experience in ERP migrations, transitions and process standardization
• Experience defining European public procurement for ERP software and system integrators
• Expert knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
• Familiar with Microsoft Dynamics or Odoo as alternative ERP
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile and Scrum methodologies
• PRINCE2 or equivalent project-management framework
• Knowledge of BPMN and process modelling
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate) and PMO reporting
• Excellent stakeholder, supplier and governance management skills
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English

Our client, a major public utility organization based in Brussels, is looking for a Senior IT Program Manager to lead a large-scale ERP transformation program.

The consultant will be responsible for managing the transition from the current SAP ECC environment toward a future ERP solution, which is currently being assessed. The role covers the preparation and management of the European public procurement procedure, the selection of the ERP solution and implementation partner, and the subsequent execution of the transformation.

The assignment also includes the management of other strategic business–IT projects, the implementation of test management standards, change management activities, and close coordination with business stakeholders, key users and the PMO.

• Location: Brussels
• Working model: Hybrid, with at least three onsite days per week
• Lead the transformation of the existing SAP ECC environment toward a new ERP solution.
• Define, prepare and manage the European public procurement process for the selection of the future ERP software and implementation partner.
• Manage the ERP transformation program, including migration, transition and business process standardization.
• Coordinate multiple strategic business–IT projects and ensure that key-user requirements are properly identified and integrated.
• Manage project scope, planning, resources, budget, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Establish a comprehensive test management approach based on the organization’s internal testing methodology.
• Organize change management activities in collaboration with business teams and the dedicated Change Management function.
• Ensure appropriate communication, training and support for end users.
• Support the PMO with project status reporting, capacity planning, budget monitoring and schedule management.
• Establish an effective project governance structure and use tools such as Jira and TOPdesk for project tracking.
• Coordinate stakeholders across business, IT, external suppliers and implementation partners.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 and NIS2 requirements throughout the assignment.

You have the following skills

• Extensive experience as a Senior IT Program Manager in large and complex organizations.
• Expert-level experience in IT transformation and large-scale ERP programs.
• Demonstrated experience transitioning from SAP ECC toward SAP S/4HANA or another modern ERP platform.
• Strong experience managing complex ERP migrations, transitions and process-standardization initiatives.
• Proven experience defining and managing European public procurement procedures for the selection of ERP software and system integrators.
• Expert knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Good functional and technical understanding of alternative ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics or Odoo.
• Strong experience in project and program management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile and Scrum.
• Expert knowledge of PRINCE2 or equivalent project-management frameworks.
• Experience establishing test strategies and test management processes.
• Strong change-management experience within complex ERP transformation programs.
• Advanced knowledge of BPMN and business-process modelling.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint, Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience with Jira, TOPdesk and structured PMO reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder, supplier and governance management skills.
• Full professional proficiency in French, Dutch and English.
• You have at least 12 years of professional experiences in IT
• If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG/ NL it’s best
• You’re eager to learn, motivated and curious
