Job summary

CFE in Brussels (HQ) seeks a Group Finance Controller to drive financial performance across four businesses. You will shape decisional support, manage cross‑unit insights and partner with senior leadership to steer strategic initiatives.

In this role, you will digitalize finance processes, lead budgeting and forecasting, and deliver executive reporting to the Director Finance & Controlling and Group CFO in a hybrid setup. You will influence complex environments with autonomy and impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally combining Big Four and corporate experience.
• Digital-native mindset with interest in automation, AI and data-driven decision-making.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, IFRS and management reporting.
• Strong business acumen with ability to understand operational challenges and actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• High autonomy, adaptability and resilience in fast-changing environments.
• Fluent in French, Dutch and English.
• Pragmatic, curious and versatile with multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the digitalization of finance processes and accelerate data analytics, automation and AI adoption.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to improve reporting tools, data flows and dashboards.
• Lead strategic deep-dive analyses on underperforming projects, subsidiaries or business situations requiring rapid intervention.
• Lead business controlling activities, ensuring robust budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance analysis.
• Partner with Business Units to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and enhance decision-usefulness.
• Ensure the quality, consistency and reliability of financial and operational data across the Group.
• Prepare and present high-level analyses, recommendations and executive reporting to Director Finance & Controlling and Group CFO.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, divestments and other strategic growth initiatives through financial analysis and due diligence.

Your Responsibilities ?

Your Skills & Experience ?
