Ernst & Young in Diegem is seeking Junior Consultants to join our Global Trade team. You will integrate customs advisory and cross-border trade solutions, supporting clients with compliance and cost optimization.

The role blends a law/economics background, exposure to tax and legal compliance, and opportunities to work with multinational clients across industries. Travel may be required. Start date in September 2027.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Law / Applied Economics / Commercial Engineering.
• Interest in indirect taxes (VAT and environmental taxes).
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French a plus.
• Client and market focus with hands-on attitude.
• Team player with strong communication and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Willing to start in September 2027.
• Data analytics and IT skills are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist and advise clients on customs, import & export matters.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce duty costs via FTAs.
• Work on projects for large corporations and SMEs, travel possible.
• Manage a varied client portfolio and build relationships.
• Collaborate within a young department and network across offices.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to support research and analysis.
