PwC Belgium is seeking a Senior Associate in Customs & International Trade to help clients navigate evolving trade policies and border controls. You will work within the Tax Industry/Sector and contribute to advisory on sanctions, trade measures, and regionalisation.

The role involves integrating trade automation with GTM systems, supporting audits, and delivering tailor-made international trade solutions for multinational clients. Fluency in Dutch or French and English is required.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics or law is preferred.
• Three to five years of experience in customs and international trade.
• Affinity with Global Trade Management systems and trade automation is a strong plus.
• Fluency in Dutch or French and English is required.

Responsabilités

• Advise on global trade strategy and compliance in a rapidly changing geopolitical environment.
• Provide guidance on customs, excise and related taxes for client companies.
• Analyse records, identify opportunities, and interact with local tax authorities.
• Support supply-chain structuring and optimisation from a customs perspective.
• Assist with audits, rulings and dispute management with customs authorities.
• Help implement Global Trade Management systems (e.g., SAP GTS).
• Apply AI and data analytics to improve classification and risk detection.
