Job summary

Televic Rail is seeking an experienced software architect and technical lead to define robust architectures and lead cross-site development efforts. You will balance hands-on coding (up to 50%) with strategic design decisions across BE/DE/US, ensuring alignment with global product architecture.

Fluency in English is essential, and German is a plus. The role offers a flexible, hybrid environment with two days of home working weekly and opportunities for growth within an international, innovative

Qualifications

Strong experience in architectural design and software development leadership.
Hands-on software development experience (up to 50% coding).
Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Experience with test automation frameworks.
Willingness to travel at least two times per quarter to Televic sites.

Responsibilities

Define and document robust, scalable architectures for features benefiting all the different sites (BE/DE/US).
Ensure these solutions are fully aligned with the global software product architecture.
Guide development across local project teams and product development teams.
Actively contribute to the overall product architecture roadmap.
Translate complex requirements into clear technical designs.
Validate implementations against architecture, performance, and quality standards.
Take accountability for end-to-end feature success (design → implementation → validation).
