Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Security Manager in Belgium to lead district security operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage security systems such as CCTV and access control. You will coordinate corrective actions, conduct incident investigations, and support business continuity planning across the district.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in security within logistics, with fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, security, safety, or related field.
• 3+ years of operational security experience within international logistics or similar.
• Experience with security, compliance, risk management, or incident management is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of AEO, CTPAT and/or WCO security programs is an asset.
• Strong understanding of operational security principles, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage and follow up on security incidents and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control.
• Coordinate completion of Security Corrective/Preventive Actions within 90 days.
• Lead security incident investigations in coordination with Regional/CHQ teams.
• Support Business Continuity Plan development and testing; communicate security updates.
• Train and develop staff on security standards and incident reporting.
