Vivid Resourcing Ltd on behalf of our client in Belgium seeks a Logistics Compliance Officer (Freelance) to strengthen environmental compliance and CO2 reporting within logistics and supply chain activities. The role emphasizes sustainability and regulatory alignment.

You will coordinate CBAM compliance, EUDR due diligence, CSRD reporting and audits, and develop initiatives to reduce environmental impact across imports and exports.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, regulatory affairs or logistics compliance.
• Knowledge of European environmental legislation affecting logistics, supply chains or international trade.
• Experience with environmental reporting, emissions data collection or carbon accounting.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and implement environmental and non-fiscal legislation affecting logistics, imports and exports.
• Coordinate CBAM compliance, including data collection, emissions reporting, certificate purchasing and verification.
• Manage F-Gas compliance, including national taxes, product bans and audit requirements.
• Support the implementation of the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), including due diligence for packaging and import/export flows.
• Coordinate CSRD reporting, including data collection and validation for external audits.
• Monitor plastic tax requirements across countries and support compliance.
• Support internal and external audits related to internal controls and ISO certification.

Logistics Compliance Officer (Freelance) – Belgium

Our client is an international organisation operating logistics and supply chain activities. They are strengthening their sustainability and compliance capabilities in response to changes in legislation, reporting requirements and customs processes.

The role focuses on environmental compliance, CO₂ reporting and sustainability within logistics. You will support the implementation of regulatory requirements, coordinate reporting and audits, and develop initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of logistics operations.
