Job summary

BIA Group in Overijse, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Inventory & Planning Manager to lead parts inventory control, KPI-driven supplier management and cross-functional planning.

You will drive stock availability, manage central stocks, coordinate major components planning and SIOP processes, and implement continuous improvements across the network while aligning with HR for team development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Master degree required.
• Fluent in English and French; Dutch and German are strong assets.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Parts Inventory Management.
• Experience in mining and/or construction industry is an asset.
• Experience doing business in Africa is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Define and measure OEM/Suppliers KPIs based on objectives and context.
• Manage OEM/Suppliers, organise regular reviews and ensure performance expectations are met.
• Communicate performance internally to different levels of the organization.
• Analyze deviations from expected results and lead corrective actions.
• Measure results of improvement projects.
• Support internal customers with Masterdata and KPI data for performance reviews.
• Represent the SC department for ERP and reporting tool improvements and adjustments.
• Coordinate with partners on planning levels (Major Components and SIOP) to ensure parts availability.
• Manage central stocks and guarantee proper stock levels as per planning and budget.
• Maintain and enforce BIA Stock Policy across the network.
• Participate in business meetings to understand customer expectations.
• Contribute to SC continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with HR for daily management and development of the team.
