Amazon's Global Materials Science (GMS) team seeks an Advanced Materials Engineer to drive development of paper-based packaging materials in the EU and harmonize global strategies with NA partners. You will work with EU suppliers, automation teams, and packaging ops to ensure materials meet performance, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a technical field.
• Experience in pulp/paper, packaging or related field.
• Experience with materials characterization methods.
• Experience coordinating cross-regional teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead R&D on paper-based packaging materials and related processing.
• Collaborate with EU and NA teams to harmonize specifications and strategies.
• Partner with packaging design, suppliers, and procurement to scale new materials.
• Develop testing protocols and material specifications for EU regions.
