Job summary
Johnson & Johnson seeks a Principal Scientist, Advanced Manufacturing to lead strategic deployment of digital and advanced technologies across the global synthetic drug substance network. Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
- 10-15+ years in pharmaceutical development, MSAT, or related tech functions.
- Strong background in deployment of complex manufacturing technologies and lifecycle management.
Responsibilities
- Define global deployment strategies for advanced manufacturing technologies across the synthetic network.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive technology transfers, scale-up, and process implementation.
- Develop value propositions and metrics for deployment benefits and business impact.
- Represent MSAT in governance forums and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory alignment and knowledge transfer for deployed solutions.
