Umicore Belgium is looking for an Export Control & Sanctions Business Partner to serve as the primary interface between their business and the Global Export Control & Sanctions team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in export controls and be fluent in English, with a Master’s degree in relevant fields. The role requires proactive communication and collaboration within a diverse, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in export controls, sanctions, or trade compliance.
• Good understanding of compliance regulations.
• Comfortable in a global working environment.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary interface for EC&S topics.
• Identify and assess EC&S risks related to transactions.
• Support application of EC&S controls across key areas.

Connaissances

Experience in export controls

Understanding of export control and sanctions

Multinational environment experience

Fluency in English

Ability to translate regulatory requirements

Strong communication skills

Analytical skills

Formation

Master’s degree in Law, International Trade, or related field
