Qualifications

• Experience in strategic procurement across energy, utilities or industrial ops.
• Proven success in energy supply contracting and complex negotiations.
• Advanced category management, sourcing, contracting and supplier relationship skills.
• Strong financial and analytical skills including business cases and risk analysis.
• Deep understanding of energy markets, modelling, hedging and decarbonisation topics.
• Ability to connect energy market dynamics with operational demand and resilience.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in an international matrix org.
• Digital/data skills with energy management systems and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop and deploy the global Energy category strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead energy sourcing and negotiation programmes for electricity, gas, heat and hydrogen.
• Own energy category scopes end-to-end from market intel to benefits tracking.
• Drive energy transformation projects: electrification, green heat, storage, DR.
• Manage and optimise flexible energy capacity, load shifting and peak shaving opportunities.
• Support hedging activities by monitoring markets and policy aligned risk.
• Build strategic supplier relationships and governance reviews.
• Monitor market, regulatory and infrastructure developments for sourcing guidance.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Sustainability and Engineering to support decarbonisation business cases.
• Drive digital enablement and data analytics through energy management systems.
