Job summary

Etex is seeking an Associate Category Manager - Logistics to develop and deliver sourcing strategies for logistics subcategories, managing strategic suppliers and cross-regional sourcing programs. You will own sourcing, negotiation, contracting, implementation and supplier governance within your portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in procurement, logistics or supply chain.
• Experience in strategic procurement and category management within logistics.
• Proven record leading multi-country logistics tenders and sourcing projects.
• Strong negotiation with carriers and logistics providers.
• Experience delivering measurable commercial results via contracts.
• Advanced expertise in logistics category strategy development.
• Knowledge of supplier relationship management and performance governance.
• Understanding of freight market intelligence and cost modelling.
• Matrix leadership across cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption across countries.
• Professional-level English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for logistics subcategories.
• Translate objectives into multi-year value roadmaps and annual plans.
• Coordinate demand management and supplier engagement across countries.
• Analyze freight markets, capacity, transport economics, and supplier capabilities.
• Lead logistics tenders, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Deliver agreed savings, cost avoidance, working-capital improvements, and contract compliance targets.
• Drive total-cost optimization through benchmarking, network analysis, load utilisation and mode reviews.
• Own commercial relationships and governance for logistics providers and carriers.
• Establish and manage supplier performance scorecards and business reviews.
• Identify and mitigate supply, market, geopolitical, regulatory, and supplier risks.
• Lead transport sustainability and decarbonization initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional implementation of sourcing initiatives.
