Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Customs Process Administrator in Antwerp, Belgium. The role coordinates the full range of customs services from order intake to clearance, with training provided in customs legislation and foreign trade.

You will handle import/export declarations and related financial activities, ensuring compliance and timely delivery, while maintaining strong client and internal stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant customs experience/certification.
• Local customs authorities’ knowledge is an asset.
• Experience handling fruit, vegetable, and veterinary goods from a customs perspective.
• One of the relevant Customs software is a plus.
• Outlook and user level experience of Microsoft applications.
• Customer-facing and interaction skills with high-level of customer orientation.
• Team engagement and support.
• The ability to meet deadlines.
• Fluent English is required, Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize all stages of customs services from order acceptance to clearance.
• Perform Import & Export declarations and Transit Movements with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage financial activities relevant to Customs House Brokerage.
• Collate and present data reports to Management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local customs authorities’ requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Share knowledge and act as a contributing team member.
• Lead or participate in customs-related projects.
