Flexport is seeking a Customs Associate to join our Antwerp team and help shape our customs operations. You will handle Belgium customs declarations, onboard new customers, and contribute to SOP development, with a focus on building efficient workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in customs/forwarding, strong knowledge of Belgian customs, and a proactive mindset to improve processes. Flexport offers a thriving multinational environment with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• True passion for customs and compliance and active participation in trade forums.
• Experience using customs software; bonus for AEB experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in customs and forwarding.

Responsabilités

• Be comfortable completing Belgium Customs declarations to a high standard.
• Help onboard new customers and build SOPs.
• Develop operational processes and fix issues.
• Provide high-level guidance on customs to prospecting clients.
• Onboard and mentor new hires.
• Lead discussions on classifications, origin and valuation.
• Contribute to building new tech and service offerings.
