Umicore Belgium seeks a Director Global Customs Compliance to lead the global customs program, shaping policies and driving cost optimisation across regions. You will partner with regional teams and act as the authoritative voice on classification, valuation, origin and procedures.

The role can be based in Brussels or Hoboken with regular presence at both sites, where you will build the team, deliver training, oversee audits, and engage authorities for BTI/AEO rulings while advancing GTM process

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in customs compliance with deep pillar expertise.
• Audit management experience and authority engagement.
• English strong; French/Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define, govern and improve the global customs compliance framework.
• Provide expert guidance on classification, valuation, origin and procedures.
• Lead the Global Customs team and deliver training.
• Define GTM requirements, data quality and KPI tracking.
• Support audits and regulatory engagements across regions.
