PwC Belgium is seeking a Customs Senior Expert to join our Brussels, Antwerp or Ghent offices. You will advise clients on global trade strategy and compliance, support supply-chain optimisation, and help implement GTM systems in a consulting environment.

You will integrate into our Indirect Tax team of 50 specialists and work with multinational corporations and Belgian-headquartered companies to design tailor-made trade solutions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics or law.
• Three to five years experience in customs and international trade.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English.
• Affinity with Global Trade Management systems and trade automation is a strong plus.
• Well-organised and able to meet deadlines.
• Team player with broad business-mindedness.

Responsabilités

• Advise clients on global trade strategy and compliance in a changing geopolitical environment.
• Provide advice on customs, excise and related taxes, and support compliance.
• Analyse records, solve problems and identify opportunities for clients.
• Support supply-chain structuring and optimisation from a customs and trade perspective.
• Assist with audits, rulings and dispute management with customs and excise authorities.
• Help clients implement GTM systems (e.g. SAP GTS).
• Translate regulatory requirements into automated, defensible trade processes.
