European Shipowners|ECSA is seeking a Communications Project Manager on a fixed-term, one-year contract to lead targeted communications projects that raise the profile of European shipping in Europe.

The role involves coordinating with member associations, planning events, and supporting the Communications Working Group in a fast-paced, international environment. Strong English and project-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A relevant academic degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in communications and/or project management.
• Track record of managing communications projects and/or events, including planning, budgeting, coordination of external providers and delivery.
• Experience with member organisations, national associations or multi-stakeholder networks is an asset.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to translate complex issues for non-expert audiences.
• Native-level English; knowledge of other languages welcomed.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills; able to work autonomously in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.

Responsabilités

• Support the communications and policy teams in planning and delivery of targeted projects, from concept to completion, on time and on budget.
• Work with member associations to ensure consistent messaging across countries.
• Assist in organising ES|ECSA events, conferences, receptions and stakeholder meetings.
• Support the Communications Working Group activities.
