Axis Group is seeking a General Project Leader to drive complex initiatives from conception to execution in a freelance capacity. You will develop and monitor detailed project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes on time.

You will lead risk management, report to senior management, and ensure architecture aligns with goals. Fluent in Dutch, French, and English, you will collaborate with diverse stakeholders and adapt to Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid

• You will analyze the solution thoroughly to implement the most effective and economical approach;
• You will create, develop, and monitor the progress of a comprehensive project plan;
• Using this project plan, you will execute the project within the financial constraints, tracking various milestones along the journey. In doing so, you will ensure that all tasks are carried out effectively;
• As the project leader, you will guarantee the delivery of the outcomes in accordance with the internal methodology;
• You will assemble a project team and oversee the coordination, motivation, and direction of project members from different teams;
• You will ensure the proposed architecture is executed successfully, both functionally and technically;
• You will actively monitor potential risks and generate alternative solutions should any issues arise;
• You will coordinate both integration and acceptance testing processes;
• You will evaluate any changes and conduct impact assessments accordingly;
• You will lead and facilitate discussions with the project team, steering group, department heads, and outside parties. You will chair steering committee meetings and orchestrate any necessary transversal adjustments;
• You will create and present reports to senior management;
• You are equipped to manage projects that require over 1000 man-days;
• You will oversee various sub-projects to ensure cohesive progress;
• You possess the social skills necessary for collaboration and can establish clear agreements with internal and external stakeholders. You are a true team player, with exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written);

• Possesses 3 to 8 years of experience in project management, overseeing complex, multidisciplinary initiatives from inception to completion;
• Demonstrates exceptional organizational and stakeholder management skills, effectively handling timelines, budgets, and competing priorities;
• Has a strong analytical and solution-focused approach, capable of recognizing risks and fostering continuous improvements;
• Is proactive, adaptable, and focused on achieving results, coupled with outstanding communication and leadership skills;
• Is fluent in Dutch, French, and English, facilitating smooth collaboration with a variety of teams and stakeholders;
• Is well-versed in project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid models, which would be considered a significant advantage.
