Job summary

SIA is a premier global management consulting firm expanding its AI practice in Belgium. We seek a Forward Deployed Engineer to build GenAI apps, deploy them at client sites, and drive adoption across teams.

You will work at the intersection of data science, ML/platform engineering, and client delivery. You will develop robust, scalable products, benchmark models across stacks, and iterate with users using LangChain, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science, AI or related field.
• 0–2 years experience; strong LLM project work encouraged.
• Experience with prompting, RAG, and agent workflows.
• Proficient Python; adaptable to client tech stacks.
• Comfortable calling APIs and connecting systems.
• Strong ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences.
• Willing to learn Dutch; English and French required.

Responsibilities

• Work on GenAI production-ready solutions at client sites.
• Scope and build LLM-based solutions (RAG pipelines, agents, workflows).
• Integrate solutions with APIs, databases, and tools.
• Ensure GDPR/EU AI Act compliance in projects.
• Support user adoption with docs and training sessions.
• Measure performance and suggest improvements to seniors.
• Communicate progress clearly to technical and business teams.
