Job summary

Sia is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to build GenAI applications (agents, RAG pipelines, copilots) and drive adoption in client environments. You will operate at the intersection of Data Science, ML/Platform Engineering, and client delivery, ensuring measurable ROI while navigating GDPR, EU AI Act, model licenses, and other regulations.

You will design scalable products, benchmark Foundation Models across stacks, and work with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and various frameworks.

Qualifications

• Grounding in computer science, AI or related field; degree preferred but hands-on ability matters.
• 2+ years professional experience; strong graduates encouraged to apply.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs in production or strong personal projects (prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, orchestration).
• Proficient Python; able to hand code for others; adapt to client's stack languages.

Responsibilities

• Sit with client teams to identify where AI adds value and ship usable solutions.
• Design and implement LLM-based systems: autonomous agents, RAG pipelines, workflow automation, conversational interfaces.
• Integrate solutions into client environments (APIs, databases, business tools) with regulatory compliance.
• Drive adoption: training, stakeholder buy-in, iterative improvements in production.
• Iterate with stakeholders to maximize impact and communicate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Represent technical discussions to executives and engineers alike, earning credibility on both sides.
