AlphaCredit is seeking a Functional/Technical Analyst to partner with Ops, Legal, IT and Business to gather requirements and translate them into functional specs and user stories. You will map workflows, design integrations and draft API contracts, while ensuring data integrity and governance.

You will contribute to testing strategies, validate data, and align middleware with business rules and GDPR compliance in a fast‑paced, agile setting. Fluency in English plus French or Dutch is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Functional/Technical Analyst in system integrations or digital transformation.
• Fluent in French or Dutch and English mandatory.
• Experience with API design, testing, and documentation.
• Ability to read code and interpret architecture diagrams.

IT Tribe Transversal Capabilities – Functional Analyst (m/f/x)

The role:

• Partner with cross‑functional teams (Ops, Legal, IT, Business) to gather and document requirements (Functional & Non‑functional).
• Translate needs into functional specifications (use cases) and user stories (SAFe).
• Process & integration: map AS‑IS/TO‑BE workflows (BPMN/UML) and perform gap analysis.
• Design system integrations.
• Technical design: draft functional designs (e.g., KYC workflows), API contracts, and audit‑ready documentation.
• Testing & QA: contribute to the test strategy definition and validate test cases and data consistency.
• Middleware & alignment: optimise middleware (Camunda) and bridge business/technical logic (e.g., GDPR compliance).

Your profile

Qualifications:

• 3+ years as a Functional/Technical Analyst, with proven experience in system integrations or digital transformation, ideally within the financial sector.
• Technical fluency in APIs (design, test/mock, documentation).
• System modelling (UML/Sequence/Activity/flowchart).
• Validation patterns (data definition, RegEx).
• Ability to read code (SQL, Java, JSON/YAML, basic scripting).
• Interpret architecture diagrams and technical negotiations.
• Understanding of Java, object‑oriented principles, and cloud integration principles.
• Agile/Scrum framework experience, including 3‑amigos refinements.
• Stakeholder management experience working with IT security and external vendors.
• Ability to simplify complex topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Tools: Bruno, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, data flow diagramming tools (Draw.io).
• Languages: Fluent in French or Dutch; English (mandatory).
