Rhox is modernising digital services for public health in French-speaking Belgium. A senior Application Architect / Technical Lead will shape SOA applications using Java 8/JEE7 or Java 21, Spring Boot, JPA, and Angular 21.

You will drive architecture, code quality and technical consistency, while coaching developers in an Agile Scrum setting. The role covers module development, refactoring, performance tuning and technical acceptance of releases, with daily collaboration with analysts, testers

Qualifications

• Senior Application Architect/Technical Lead with Angular 21 and Java experience.
• Experience designing service-oriented Java apps with Spring Boot and JPA.
• Front-end development using Angular 21 and Angular Material.
• Database versioning with Flyway on DB2/MySQL.
• Experience with offline browser capabilities (IndexedDB, Dexie, Service Worker).
• Strong unit testing with JUnit/Mockito and code reviews.
• Proficient in Docker-based CI/CD, Maven, Git/GitLab, Nexus.
• Good Scrum/Agile experience and ability to mentor teams.

Responsabilités

• Define application architecture for public health services and maintain architecture documents.
• Lead technical implementation across Java, Spring Boot, Angular and JPA; align REST/OpenAPI interfaces.
• Improve memory usage and performance via refactoring and debt reduction.
• Enforce standards through code reviews, SOLID/DRY and JUnit/Mockito tests.
• Validate Docker CI/CD pipelines and deployments across environments.
• Coach developers and coordinate with analysts, testers, middleware specialists, and Scrum team.
