Job summary

Fincons Group is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer – Advanced to join its Brussels team. The role covers full-stack development, API design, cloud deployment, and adherence to security best practices in a multi-language, cross-functional setting.

Based in Brussels (Belgium) with near-site service provisions and possible onsite presence as needed, this position demands a Master’s degree or equivalent with substantial experience in IT and software engineering.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks Angular, React, Vue.
• Back-end development with Java, Node.js, PHP, including Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB databases.
• Experience with Git-based workflows and version control.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and deployment.
• Experience designing and securing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and application security principles.
• Experience with IT systems supporting transport fuel traceability.

Fincons is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer – Advanced

TASKS:

• Full-stack web application development (front-end & back-end)
• Design of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and interactions
• Development of APIs and server-side business logic
• Implementation of security best practices, authentication, and data protection
• Design and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.
• Back-end development expertise with Java, Node.js, PHP , including Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and version control.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and application deployment.
• Experience in designing and securing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes , and modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT , and application security principles.
• Experience with IT systems supporting transport fuel traceability.

SKILLS:

• Capacity to quickly ramp-up on new projects and competence in collaborating within teams.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.

Language knowledge: English B2+

Office: Brussels (Belgium), Near-site service provision with possible onsite presence as deemed necessary during the execution of specific contract.

Minimum level of qualification: Master's degree and 15 years of experience or secondary education and 22 years of experience.
