Job summary

Fincons Group, a long‑standing IT consulting leader, seeks a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer to deliver end‑to‑end web applications from UI to API and data layer. You will craft scalable interfaces, secure APIs, and robust deployments across AWS/Azure environments.

Brussels-based role with near-site and potential on‑site involvement, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and leveraging modern DevOps practices to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master’s degree or extensive professional experience equivalent to a master’s level.
• Fluent in English; able to participate in multi-lingual meetings.

Responsibilities

• Full-stack web application development (front-end & back-end).
• Design of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and interactions.
• Development of APIs and server-side business logic.

Fincons is looking for a Full-stack Software Engineer - Advanced

TASKS:

• Full-stack web application development (front-end & back-end)
• Design of responsive, user-friendly web interfaces and interactions
• Development of APIs and server-side business logic
• Implementation of security best practices, authentication, and data protection
• Design and delivery of scalable, high-performance software solutions
• Code maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, and testing (unit/integration)
• Cloud deployment and application management using CI/CD and containerization
• Technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless system integration and user satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and frameworks such as Angular, React, and Vue.
• Back-end development expertise with Java, Node.js, PHP, including Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows and version control.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud environments and application deployment.
• Experience in designing and securing RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and application security principles.
• Experience with IT systems supporting transport fuel traceability.

SKILLS:

• Capacity to quickly ramp-up on new projects and competence in collaborating within teams.
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, ease of communication.

Minimum level of qualification:
