Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of software development experience with strong Java/Spring API skills.
• Experience with REST APIs, design, security, and scalability.
• Familiarity with cloud environments and CI/CD practices.
• Experience in competitive policy environments is a plus.

Fincons is looking for a Back-End Software Engineer – Advanced

TASKS

• Develop and maintain back-end applications, services, and business logic, ensuring clean, scalable, and high-quality code.
• Design, build, secure, and optimize APIs, data storage solutions, and cloud-based back-end services.
• Implement security best practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secure logging, and monitoring.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, leveraging monitoring and observability tools.
• Contribute to the design and delivery of scalable software solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, code integrity, and CI/CD-integrated testing practices.

REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, and REST API development.
• Strong back-end development experience with Java, PHP, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Node.js, combined with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Expertise in APM, monitoring, and observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, Elastic APM, OpenTelemetry), as well as relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in designing and securing REST APIs, event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka, and supporting Case Management solutions.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Git-based development workflows, Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile development methodologies.
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Professional experience in competition policy environments.

CERTIFICATES

(Optional) One of the following or an equivalent certification:

• AWS Certified Developer Associate, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, or CNCF Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
