Altia is seeking a Senior Full-stack Software Engineer (Angular/Java/AWS) to join an international project focused on secure, scalable archival information systems. You will design and implement full-stack solutions using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native patterns, with emphasis on CI/CD, security and container orchestration.

The role requires a Master’s degree and 15+ years in IT, plus deep experience across frontend, backend, databases and cloud services.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or equivalent (EQF Level 7).
• 15+ years of professional IT experience.
• English C1+ (written and spoken).
• 3+ years in archival domain.
• 5+ years JS/TS/HTML/CSS experience.
• 5+ years Angular and build tools (Webpack/Vite).
• 5+ years Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST API development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate and scalable architecture.
• Experience documenting REST APIs with OpenAPI.
• 5+ years Oracle RDBMS (schema, PL/SQL, query optimization).
• 3+ years AWS services and cloud deployment.
• 3+ years Docker and Kubernetes or similar.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform/CloudFormation/Bicep.
• Cloud architecture, security and deployment best practices.
• Security, DevOps & Collaboration.
• CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows (Git, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of auth protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Secure software development and data protection.
• Ability to work in international/multicultural teams.
• Certifications: Angular, Java, AI agent usage in development.

The project

Join an international project focused on the development, maintenance and modernisation of secure and scalable applications supporting archival information systems for a major European organisation.

You will contribute to the design and development of full-stack solutions using Angular, Java and Spring Boot, with a strong focus on cloud architecture, database optimisation and application security. The role also involves REST API development, CI/CD automation, containerised deployments and collaboration with international teams.

Requirements

• University degree equivalent to EQF Level 7 (Master's degree or equivalent to five years of higher education).
• Minimum 15 years of professional IT experience.
• English C1 or higher, both written and spoken.
• 3+ years of professional experience in the archival field.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• 5+ years of experience with Angular and build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST API development.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, JPA/Hibernate and scalable software architecture.
• Experience designing and documenting REST APIs using OpenAPI standards.
• 5+ years of experience with Oracle RDBMS, including schema design, PL/SQL and query optimisation.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud application deployment and management.
• 3+ years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent containerisation and orchestration technologies.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep.
• Understanding of cloud architecture, security and deployment best practices.
• Security, DevOps & Collaboration
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version-control tools such as Git, GitLab and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorisation protocols, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and JWT.
• Strong understanding of application security, data protection and secure software development.
