Job summary

PolyPerception BV in Antwerp is looking for an experienced full-stack engineer who cares about the product as much as the code. You will own features from understanding user needs through to deployment, delivering practical, reliable functionality in production.

You will join a small team building a React frontend, Python APIs, and data pipelines while evolving our database models. Hybrid work is offered, with up to two days from home, and an office near Antwerpen-Berchem.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and maintaining full-stack applications used by real customers.
• Strong product judgment: understand users' workflows and turn problems into practical solutions.
• Eye for clear, intuitive interfaces and good UX.
• Strong programming skills with hands-on React experience.
• Experience building backend services and APIs in Python.
• Solid SQL and relational database skills, including schema design and migrations.
• Experience deploying and operating applications on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of features from user needs to deployment and follow-up.
• Build and improve our React frontend, including dashboards, data visualisations, image exploration, reporting and alerts.
• Develop Python APIs and backend services that connect users, AI capabilities and data from deployed analyzers.
• Evolve database models and data pipelines, optimize queries and manage migrations.
• Own and improve cloud deployments on AWS with infrastructure as code, CI/CD, monitoring and reliability.
• Investigate production issues and improve performance, security and maintainability.
• Help bring AI features into the product, including conversational assistants and semantic search.
