Job summary

OutKept is seeking a full-stack developer to help strengthen a fast-growing SaaS platform in Ghent, Belgium. You will work closely with experienced engineers and the CTO on an exciting product roadmap, owning parts of the lifecycle from discovery to production.

We value curiosity, autonomy, and a willingness to learn, with a preference for candidates fluent in Dutch and English. Remote work options and a strong developer experience are offered.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with at least two core technologies (React, TypeScript, NodeJS, GraphQL, S3).
• Strong interest in building maintainable, production-ready features.
• Focus on shipping qualitative features to production with confidence.

To strengthen our team of software engineers, we are looking for a full-stack developer that wants to play a crucial role in improving our platform.

Our current engineering team owns the full lifecycle of the product, pushing it from discovery to production. You'll work together with other experienced engineers and the CTO to work on an exciting product roadmap.

Our tech stack consists of multiple modern technologies. Core components in our stack are:

• React
• Typescript
• NodeJS
• GraphQL
• S3

We care more about your eagerness and ability to build mature, maintainable solutions with a good developer experience than a perfect match with our tech stack. You don't need experience with everything we use but curiosity, autonomy, and a willingness to learn are a must.

About You

You would be a good fit with our team if most of this sounds like you:

• Familiarity with at least two of our core technologies.
• Passionate about building products, shipping qualitative features to production with confidence.
• You love engineering, and don't hesitate to ask questions and optimize existing (technical) architectures.
• Bring experience or curiosity to contribute to observability & monitoring, security, accessibility, scalability, and other software architecture attributes.
• Eager to help in constructing our engineering culture & practices. Align features with other developers, leveraging the right documentation and software patterns.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

OutKept is a SaaS startup that helps organisations reduce the risk of being phished through phishing simulations. These are created by an open community of ethical phishers and send to targeted user groups. Phishers earn bounties for every interaction, such as a clicked link or opened attachment.

Our approach of working with a global open community of ethical phishers is unique, and follows a similar logic to bug bounty programs in ethical hacking.
