Vivid Resourcing is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a freelance/contract role in Brussels. The successful candidate will own core accounting activities, reporting, and financial processes, working autonomously.

Responsibilities include month-end close, management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgeting support, statutory reporting, and collaboration with external accountants. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in a senior accounting role.
• Autonomous, freelance/contract basis.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Managing month-end and year-end accounting processes.
• Preparing management accounts and financial reports.
• Balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger management.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting.
• VAT and other statutory reporting.
• Working with external accountants/auditors where required.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
• Providing general commercial and financial support to the business.
