BDO Belgium is seeking a Senior Change Manager to strengthen our Strategy & Transformation team and drive a major transformation program delivering essential services to citizens, businesses and local communities. From day one, you will contribute to high-impact initiatives and work alongside an established team of change professionals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of change management experience.
• Experience leading change within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Fluent French and professional Dutch; consulting experience is a plus.
• Certification in Change Management (Prosci ADKAR or equivalent) is a strong asset.

Looking for a transformation journey rather than just another project?

At BDO, we are looking for a Senior Change Manager to strengthen our Strategy & Transformation department and join a major transformation program within a leading Belgian organization delivering essential services to citizens, businesses and local communities.

From day one, you will contribute to high-impact transformation initiatives in an environment where operational excellence, digitalization and employee engagement are key priorities.

Rather than moving from one short assignment to another, you will have the opportunity to support a transformation journey with a clear long-term horizon and see the tangible impact of your work across the organization.

You will work alongside an established team of change professionals already active within the organization, collaborating closely with operational teams, business stakeholders, management and project teams to drive successful adoption and sustainable change.

Your role

As a Senior Change Manager, you will take ownership of the people side of strategic transformation initiatives.

You will:

• Define and implement change management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct stakeholder analyses, impact assessments and change readiness evaluations.
• Advise sponsors, leadership teams and project managers on change-related challenges and opportunities.
• Design and facilitate workshops, working sessions and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Develop communication, engagement and learning approaches tailored to different audiences.
• Support managers and teams throughout the transformation journey.
• Measure adoption, identify risks and adjust actions to ensure sustainable outcomes.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders translate strategic ambitions into concrete behavioral change.

What we are looking for

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Change Management.
• Proven experience leading change activities within large-scale transformation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience in digital, process and organisational transformation.
• Ability to navigate complex environments involving multiple business, operational and technical stakeholders.
• Excellent French communication skills (spoken and written), combined with a strong professional command of Dutch, enabling effective facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and communication across all levels of the organisation.
• Certification in Change Management (Prosci ADKAR or equivalent) is considered a strong asset.
• Autonomous, pragmatic and impact-oriented mindset.
• Consulting experience is a plus.
