Tenos is seeking a Freelance C&B Manager to lead payroll and C&B across Belgium, the Netherlands and France. You will partner with the Regional HR Manager and C&B Director, combining operational duties with project and change management.

You will oversee a regional payroll team, drive policy updates, and manage projects such as pay transparency and bonus schemes, while coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring compliant processes in multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Extensive C&B experience with project implementations and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of social legislation and payroll processes impact on C&B.
• Hands-on, proactive and independent with ownership mindset.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with operational and strategic stakeholders.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, time registration systems and eBlox a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.

Freelance C&B Manager BeNeFra – Region Antwerp (Ref. 1712)

For an established industrial company with approximately 1,400 employees (both blue- and white-collar), we are looking for an experienced Freelance C&B Manager. In this versatile role, you will be responsible for Payroll and C&B across Belgium, the Netherlands and France. You will work closely with the Regional HR Manager and C&B Director, combining operational responsibility with project and change management.

Your responsibilities:

• Operationally manage the regional Payroll team (5 FTE) and ensure the quality and continuity of payroll processes.
• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day C&B processes and act as a point of contact for the business on C&B-related matters, including benchmarking, support for social dialogue, budgeting and tax audits.
• Take ownership of change and project management for the implementation of various C&B projects, including pay transparency, merit increase cycles, bonus and commission schemes, mobility budgets, group and hospitalisation insurance, time registration, etc….
• Manage the annual merit review, bonus and warrant cycle.
• Monitor and translate changes in social legislation into concrete policies, processes and actions.
• Coordinate C&B solutions in close collaboration with the Payroll team.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare clear internal communications regarding C&B changes for employees, HR Business Partners, management and trade unions.
• Prepare and support the transition to a new payroll system for the Dutch payroll.
• (Re)write and update C&B policies, FAQs, work regulations and collective labour agreements.

Your profile:

• Extensive experience in C&B, with a proven track record in projects, implementations and team management.
• Thorough knowledge of social legislation and payroll processes, including payroll calculations and their impact on C&B.
• Hands-on, proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to switch smoothly between operational and strategic stakeholders.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, time registration systems and eBlox is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is a plus.
