Job summary

Asenium Consulting is seeking a Financial Controller to support IT Production teams with budget forecasting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting. The role involves managing departmental budgets, monitoring costs, and overseeing contracts from initiation to completion.

You will collaborate with Tribe Leads, Contract Managers, Procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely financial information and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in performance management.
• Experience with departmental budget management, expense tracking and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or equivalent.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, adaptable and reliable.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French.

• Track the end-to-end finance process and ensure all required steps are completed effectively.

• Support IT Production teams with budget forecasts and financial reporting.
• Manage departmental budgets, from allocation and expense tracking to future forecasting.
• Monitor and document Resource Costs, Non-Resource Costs, and subcontractor costs.
• Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation through completion.
• Collaborate with Tribe Leads, Contract Managers, Procurement, and other stakeholders.
• Initiate requests, monitor current expenditure, and coordinate follow-up actions using relevant tools.
• Track the end-to‑end finance process and ensure all required steps are completed effectively.

Must-have requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in performance management.
• Proven experience supporting departmental budget management, expense tracking, and forecasting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or a comparable field.
• Detail-oriented, process-driven, adaptable, reliable, and collaborative approach.
• Fluency in English and fluency in either Dutch or French.
