MpowerT is supporting a privately owned international pharmaceutical group in Antwerp by recruiting a Finance & Reporting Manager. The role blends strong accounting, IFRS reporting and business partnering across multiple countries within a growing and increasingly professional finance environment.

You will own the financial reporting and coordination across group entities, work with local Finance Managers, and help translate numbers into meaningful business insights in a multinational setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 8 years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, controlling and/or financial reporting.
• IFRS knowledge is a strong asset.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must.
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems is an advantage.

For one of our clients, a privately owned international pharmaceutical group , MpowerT is looking for a Finance & Reporting Manager to strengthen its Corporate Finance team in Antwerp.

This is not a purely reporting-driven position. You will take ownership of a portfolio of international entities and act as a key finance partner between local Finance Managers and the Corporate Finance organization.

As Finance & Reporting Controller, you will become part of an international finance matrix and work closely with Finance Managers across different countries and legal entities.

You won’t just report the numbers. You’ll challenge them, understand them and help shape the story behind them. ?

? What will you do?

You will take ownership of the financial reporting and review process for a portfolio of Group entities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in line with Group accounting policies and IFRS.
• Reviewing P&L and balance sheet positions and challenging the quality of the reported numbers.
• Working closely with local Finance Managers to identify inconsistencies, follow up on reconciliations and continuously improve reporting quality.
• Analysing financial results and trends and translating them into relevant business insights.
• Supporting and overseeing the budgeting process for your entities.
• Coordinating annual financial audits and working with internal and external auditors.
• Contributing to the further standardization of accounting principles, reporting processes and internal controls across the Group.
• Working closely with Corporate Accounting and Tax on intercompany positions, transfer pricing and compliance.
• Supporting Group-wide finance, reporting, sustainability and other corporate initiatives.
• Contributing to the preparation of IFRS consolidated financial statements and interaction with Group auditors.

? Who are we looking for?

You have built a solid foundation in accounting, audit, controlling or financial reporting and are ready to broaden your impact.

Ideally, you bring:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Around 8 years or more of relevant experience in audit, accounting, controlling and/or financial reporting.
• A sound understanding of financial statements and accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to look behind the numbers rather than simply report them.
• The confidence to challenge and interact with Finance Managers and other stakeholders across different countries.
• A hands-on, structured and pragmatic working style.
• The ability to navigate an international, multi-entity and multicultural organization.
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must
• Experience with ERP and reporting systems is an advantage; knowledge of Dynamics D365, Axapta or IBM Cognos Controller is a plus.
