Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Business Controller for an international industrial services group in Verrebroek, Belgium. You will link finance with operations, turning data into actionable insights that improve profitability, efficiency, and performance.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, and month-end activities at project level, develop Power BI dashboards, and partner with project managers and operations teams to drive better decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, audit, or analytical finance.
• Experience working with operational teams or projects.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate numbers into actions.
• Excellent Excel skills; ERP experience (Navision a plus).
• Power BI or reporting tools experience valued.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French a plus.

Responsabilités

• Analyse business performance through revenue, margins, WIP, costs, forecasts, and KPIs.
• Act as a trusted finance partner for project managers, operational leaders, and management teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI.
• Investigate deviations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing at project level.
• Improve reporting processes and financial workflows.

Your impact

• Analyse business performance through revenue, margins, WIP, costs, forecasts, and operational KPIs
• Act as a trusted finance partner for project managers, operational leaders, and management teams
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews to drive better decision-making
• Develop clear reporting tools and dashboards using Power BI
• Investigate deviations, identify improvement opportunities, and challenge business performance
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities at project level
• Improve reporting processes, systems, and financial workflows

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in controlling, audit, or a strong analytical finance role
• Experience working closely with operational teams or project environments
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into business actions
• Excellent Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Navision is a plus)
• Experience with Power BI or reporting tools is highly valued
• Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
