Cohabs is seeking an Accountant Intern based in Belgium to support the accounting team with day-to-day tasks for our French entity and contribute to the monthly closing.

You will encode invoices, perform bank reconciliations, follow up on supplier payments, process payroll journals, and assist with provisions and account reconciliation.

Starting January 2027, this internship provides hands-on learning in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Structured, rigorous approach to work.
• Curious, motivated, and not afraid to ask questions.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets; accounting software is a plus.
• Fluent in French; English a plus.

Responsabilités

• Encode and process customer and supplier invoices for our French entity.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and keep records up to date.
• Follow up on supplier payments and assist with timely payments.
• Encode payroll journal entries and support payroll accounting tasks.
• Participate in the monthly closing and identify discrepancies.
• Support analysis and recording of provisions.
• Review and reconcile accounts for accurate financial reporting.
