Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH Belgium is seeking a Technical Manager, Swine to strengthen technical expertise and support swine growth. This field-based role partners with veterinarians, farmers, and industry stakeholders to provide high-quality scientific support and translate knowledge into practical solutions.
You will report to the Business Unit Head of Livestock and spend most of your time in the field, with regular travel across Flanders and surrounding regions to farms, veterinarians, and key
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
- 3–5 years of experience as a veterinarian practitioner in swine.
- Knowledge of swine health, production systems, and infectious disease management.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
Responsabilités
- Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, farmers, opinion leaders, and industry experts in swine.
- Provide scientific and technical support to customers and internal teams.
- Deliver technical trainings, presentations, workshops, and field visits.
- Support the sales team with technical expertise and customer-focused solutions.
- Contribute to development and review of technical and promotional materials.
- Monitor industry trends, disease developments and insights relevant to swine health.
- Represent Boehringer Ingelheim at congresses and professional events.
- Ensure activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
