Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Technical Manager, Swine, to strengthen technical expertise and support swine growth in Belgium. This field-based role partners with veterinarians, farmers and industry stakeholders to translate science into practical solutions and educate customers.

The role reports to the Business Unit Head of Livestock and is based in Flanders with regular regional travel. You will engage in technical trainings, field visits, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
• 3–5 years as a veterinarian in swine.
• Strong knowledge of swine health, production systems, and infectious disease management.
• Customer-focused with strong technical credibility.
• Experience with diagnostic laboratories and providing diagnostic support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Collaborative and approachable personality.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, farmers, opinion leaders and industry experts in swine.
• Provide scientific and technical support to customers and internal teams.
• Deliver technical trainings, presentations, workshops and field visits.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise and customer-focused solutions.
• Contribute to development and review of technical and promotional materials.
• Monitor industry trends, disease developments and emerging scientific insights.
• Represent Boehringer Ingelheim at congresses, conferences and events.
• Ensure activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with adverse event investigations and product-related inquiries.
