Job summary

TOMRA Food is seeking a people-focused leader to head a team of Field Service Engineers across one or more countries. You will own country service growth, engage key customers, and collaborate with sales to convert opportunities into service proposals.

You will coach engineers, balance field visits with development work, and drive sustainable, safe service delivery while tracking performance with CRM data. Fluency in English and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

Experience leading or developing people in service, technical operations or related business.
Proven ability to grow service revenue or develop customer accounts.
Understanding of field service and industrial customer needs with technical context.
Ability to build country plans and convert needs into service proposals.
Comfort discussing revenue, costs and business performance using data.
Strong customer communication and negotiation skills for challenging conversations.
Commitment to health & safety, team development, and reliable service delivery.
Fluent English and proficiency in Microsoft Office; additional languages welcome.
Relevant engineering or business qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Develop the country service business with the Regional Service Manager.
Build country plans based on customer needs and installed-base opportunities.
Drive service agreements, maintenance and upgrades; re-engage underutilised customers.
Collaborate with Sales to progress opportunities and define ownership.
Review revenue, costs and pipeline; act on gaps within authority.
Maintain regular contact with priority customers and align service plans.
Coordinate with sales and support for a joined-up customer approach.
Own service escalations; coordinate resolution and feedback into improvements.
Coach engineers, support development, and balance visits with demand.
