Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Geel site seeks a Facility Engineer to support the E&PS department, reporting to the Senior Site Facilities Manager. Based in Geel, Belgium, you will help design, operate, and maintain buildings, HVAC systems, utilities and installations across the site.

The role emphasizes safety, quality and compliance in a regulated environment. You will coordinate with Operations, Engineering, EHS and Quality to drive continuous improvement and support future investment projects while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, utilities or technical services.
• Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety, quality and compliance by adhering to EH&S, GMP/GxP and audits.
• Serve as the trusted contact for buildings and infrastructure with stakeholders.
• Coordinate day-to-day facility activities, bringing together teams and providers.
• Act as key contact for soft services, manage on-site contractor area and logistics.
• Oversee maintenance for buildings, installations and utilities to ensure availability.
• Manage work orders, coordinate interventions and track deviations/improvements.
• Proactively address alarms, risks and improvement opportunities for continuity.
• Build relations with Operations, Engineering, EHS, Quality and Supply Chain.
