Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced facilities and engineering leader to oversee all maintenance operations, safety programs, and asset protection. You will manage budgets, capital projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation while ensuring regulatory compliance and high guest service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.
• 2-year degree in Building/Construction, Engineering, Mechanics or related major with 2 years in engineering/maintenance; HVAC-R/electrical/plumbing training.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Engineering in the absence of the Director of Engineering.
• Manages physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical and life safety systems.
• Maintains and operates equipment at optimum effectiveness, efficiency and safety.
• Establishes and manages an effective rooms maintenance program.
• Ensures compliance with Engineering policies, standards and procedures.
• Manages department expenses to meet budgeted goals.
• Selects and orders or purchases new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.
• Inspects facilities to determine work required and recommends additional services like painting or renovations.
• Supervises day-to-day operations of Engineering.
• Maintains accurate logs and records; plans and evaluates preventive maintenance programs.
• Handles guest problems and complaints; empowers employees to deliver excellent service.
• Leads team to deliver hospitality with a positive guest relations atmosphere.
• Supports profitability through prioritizing maintenance needs and clear communication.
• Fosters open, collaborative relationships with staff; ensures fair treatment and continuous service improvement.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and proper disciplinary procedures.

Formation
