NH Collection Gent is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations, ensuring a safe, well-maintained environment that meets the highest standards. You will supervise a maintenance team, manage external providers, and drive energy efficiency and cost controls while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires 3–4 years of hotel maintenance experience, HVAC and electrical system knowledge, and proficiency with SAP/CMMS/BMS.

Qualifications

• At least 3–4 years' maintenance experience in hotel/service industries of similar size.
• Vocational training in electrical/electronics, HVAC or industrial maintenance.
• Fluency in local language; knowledge of English helpful.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and electronic systems.
• Proficient with SAP, CMMS (GMAO), and Building Management Systems.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and supervise preventive maintenance of equipment and hotel facilities.
• Arrange routine maintenance in rooms, lobbies and facilities with safety in mind.
• Conduct hotel inspections to ensure infrastructure reaches required standards.
• Manage contracts with external maintenance providers and supervise service quality.
• Build relations with external stakeholders (fire prevention, vendors).
• Develop project plans, evaluate budgets, timing, teams, and standards.
• Monitor energy consumption and maintenance costs to optimize spend.
• Identify and implement ways to reduce operating costs and conserve energy.
• Ensure timely handling of guest incidents and issues.
• Coordinate department objectives with other head of departments.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance team ensuring collaboration and performance.
